American Singer, Waterslager Canaries and Goldfinch Mules

 

Canaries are categorized in three different groups, Type, Color and Song.

Song – These birds are bred for their outstanding song and not color or size.  There are many different verity but the most available types in the US are Spanish Timbrado, German Roller, Waterslager and American Singer.

 

Type – They are bred for certain physical shape or trait; they come in small to large sizes.  Song is not one of their strong traits.

 

Color Canaries – These birds are bred for their amazing colors.  These canaries are usually color feed during molt in order to get the deep colors that are desired.
